(Although outstanding tax calculations of several billion dollars wouldn't be much to pay, the penalties would still apply - in some cases, jail - and nobody wants to land up there!!!). The tax directive would apply to self-employed persons. Normal sales tax and PAYE would apply immediately to anyone buying items or getting a salary. I dont agree with it. what amnesty are we suposed to hold. Its better to get 12months tax free salaries from countries in which we are moving from. Our contry is being robbed the same way you want "to come-home". so where is the help then? its why they says "Zimbabweans dont know how to make their economy beter". you pay high taxes in diaspora because they know thats what makes them strong. In return you steal from your own country- no.
